Crag View is a charming traditional Lakeland stone cottage at the end of a row of four, set back from the road with a shared green to the front.

Located above the town centre in a quiet lane with little traffic, it offers tranquility while being within 5 minutes walk of all Ambleside's amenities.

There are superb views from all rooms over Ambleside to the fells beyond and down to Lake Windermere. Fine walks, either leisurely or more strenuous, start at the doorstep.
    The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed with good quality furnishings and decoration throughout. There is:
  • full central heating and double glazing
  • new kitchen fitted to a very high standard with an electric hob and oven
  • fridge, freezer and microwave.
  • TV, DVD, radio and CD player.
  • utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and a sink. The utility room is shared with the adjoining cottage.

  • All rooms have magnificent views
The Living Rooms

The front door leads into an L shaped sitting room and dining area with a kitchen off this. The sitting room with beams and oak flooring has a windowseat with wonderful views across to the Langdales.
The new kitchen is adjacent to the dining area and is equipped to a very high standard with an electric hob and oven, fridge, freezer and microwave.
The Bedrooms
On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a double bed, fitted wardrobe and pine furniture. There is also a single room on this floor with a fitted wardrobe. A shower room with an instant electrically heated shower, wash basin and toilet is also on this floor.

A spiral staircase leads to the second floor where there is a large room containing two twin beds and an en-suite bathroom.

Crag View is in Blue Hill Road, which is a turning off Old Lake Road.

Gas and electricity is included. Please bring your own sheets, towels and tea towels. A non-returnable deposit of £100 per week is payable on booking, the balance is due six weeks before the holiday.

The cottage is available all year.

Children are welcome, also one pet by prior arrangement.

Accommodation is for a maximum of 5 people and smoking is not permitted.
